Last weekend I did a little shoot with my sister in-law and her 3 sisters. The day didn't start off so well with my primary  camera, the Yashica Twin reflex (the whole day was planned around this camera) falling out of its case  smack on to the pavement breaking the shutter release, Rendering it useless and a trip to the camera doctor to get it fixed.  Either way though, the day turned out to be total a blast with the sun out big and bright shining down on China Town  as we searched out those little nooks and hidden alley's for "that shot". These ladies were a fun pleasure to shoot. Real true Madonna's. Strike a pose:

Synthcake EP Release show with Tyranahorse and Wizerdz

Last Friday was Synthcake's EP release. Complete with a circus side show act and edible synth cake, this now quintet circus pop group (decked out in Misery & Co threads / stage art) danced the Cobalt night away with their dark playful music, giving you the feeling like your in a Tim Burton movie .  Tyranahorse was another band that opened that night. Dressed all zebra like, they really killed  it with their super beats and "stuck in my freakin head" tunes

The Archetype

A couple of weeks ago I shot some behind the scenes and runway photos for The Archetype Fashion Show down at Guilt & Co. The Archetype is a great shop located in Mount Pleasant on Main and 10th ave. They have everything from bangles to that pair of acid wash skinny jean you have been searching for. They are always bringing in new garments and accessories from local and international collections to give you that total shopping experience at a reasonable price.
